With a seven-point lead and 14 games remaining, you have to think Sidney Crosby is almost a lock for the Art Ross Trophy this season.

Still, consider this: Over the past 15 games, Vincent Lecavalier has gained nine points on Crosby, meaning what looked like a runaway win has become at least somewhat of a chase.

Lecavalier's really having a terrific season, and he's on pace to better his career highs by 19 goals and 34 points. Now that's a breakout year (so congrats if you took him in your pool).

I believe the Lightning is going to win the Southeast Division this year, simply because they have eight home games remaining on their schedule, and if that's the case, GM Jay Feaster's team-building strategy honestly doesn't look that shortsighted anymore. Where Tampa Bay really needs some help heading into the playoffs is in goal, as they can outscore anyone in the league.
