The Western all-stars
The NHL released the full rosters for the Western Conference today at noon.
The team looks reasonably close to the one I put together yesterday, with a few tweaks to try and fit in a player from every team.
Players missing: Ilya Bryzgalov, Brent Burns, Derek Morris, Mike Ribeiro, Brenden Morrow, Patrick Sharp, Kristian Huselius, Jonathan Toews*
Players on team: Manny Legace, Duncan Keith, Ed Jovanovski, Jason Arnott, Marian Gaborik, Anze Kopitar, Rick Nash, Henrik Sedin
No one really undeserving there, although I do think Sharp or Patrick Kane should have been the 'Hawks representative. Keith and Jovanovski have quietly had strong seasons, however, and I would have also had Sedin or Nash in place of the injured Toews.
