The Los Angeles Kings and the new Ontario Reign of the ECHL have reached an official partnership and affiliation agreement, the two clubs announced today.  The Reign are currently playing their inaugural season at Citizen’s Business Bank Arena in Ontario.

As part of the new agreement, AEG, the parent company of the Kings, has acquired a majority interest in the Reign, while Barry Kemp and his company will own a minority interest in the Reign and will continue to operate the ECHL team.
