Because it points out how close Christmas is, too. Yipes!
It would be funny if Chicago has a two-goal lead, loses it in the third period, and Detroit wins in a shootout. That seems to be their pattern thus far.

The Winter Classic will be a great way to celebrate New Year’s Day. I am just as eagerly awaiting the New Years Eve USA vs. Canada WJC game at 7:30 pm.
