So…he kicked the puck. Towards open ice.
It wasn’t like he dribbled the puck down the ice for a bit and then kicked it to Zetterberg.
Sure it was neat, but it wasn’t a unique skill like his shootout moves.

I think it’s impressive that he dropped his stick on purpose, like he knew that he would just kick the puck over. At this point, I’m assuming that everything Datsyuk does is purposeful. Kicks the puck? On purpose. Puck slides off his stick? Meant to do that.
The West Coast is the Best Coast.
