Owen Nolan: Still has some wheels
Pretty impressive for the ol' bugger, who played almost 21 minutes against the Lightning despite the fact he's off to a pretty slow start this season. That one, however, gives him two in two games after he whacked an empty netter the length of the ice against the Leafs on Tuesday.
(And, if you're really bored — or just a huge Nolan fan — you can see all 25 of his tallies from last season.)

You’ve got to feel a bit bad for the defender and goalie, both played it the way they should. That little hop he got over his stick and the shot were pretty remarkable.

Always think about the “called shot” on Hasek when I hear Owen Nolan’s name.

Vrbata might not be lighting it up in the desert, but perfectly happy not having Hale and Fedoruk (who are 2 of the Lightning players on the ice at the time) back in the desert…
Always liked Nolan and he had a nice year when he was out here a few years back…
World Ph*cking Champs! That was fun - let's do it again...
