Perron's pretty goal
Another on the list of "in case you missed it" YouTube videos, here's the Blues' David Perron's nifty goal on Saturday against the Islanders:
Goal of the year so far? I think so.

Sweet! Very annoying fantasy player with his generally dormant play bookended with bi-weekly breakouts. Hopefully he finds some consistency in the remaining 60 games. Clearly the talent is there.

Agreed. Maybe not as flashy, but the skill involved was ridiculous.

It wasn’t that great a goal. Big deal he beat Mark Streit one on one.

For Senators fans, this is a rather nasty flashback to the Jason Pominville OT goal from the 2006 playoffs.

David Perron showed 900% more skill on that.
Pominville was all speed and then the quick cut and hands near the net. Alfredsson is still looking for the vapour trail that went by him.

Disgusting goal.
Period.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up as Goal of the Year..
Whatever it takes?
