Sather posts Pocklington's bail
"New York Rangers general manager Glen Sather came to the rescue Friday of Peter Pocklington, agreeing to post $1-million (U.S.) in bail, clearing the way for the release from jail of the former owner of the Edmonton Oilers."

But it makes sense to me. Players like Redden and Rosival have been snookering The Generalissimo out of NYR money for years. At least he’s taking it out of his own pocket this time.
