Omark's nifty shootout goal
Edmonton Oilers prospect Linus Omark was playing in a friendly international game for Sweden against Switzerland earlier today and netted this game winner in a shootout:
A fourth-rounder in 2007, Omark is a 22-year-old smallish sniper in the Swedish Elitserien with Lulea. He's third in league scoring with 55 points in 53 games.
My thanks to Robert S. for sending the YouTube in from Sweden.

Dig the matching ties for the Swedish coaching staff.
I have as many wins in a Capitals uniform as Michael Belhumeur does.

Sweet
I signed this guy on my NHL 09 team… I don’t think I can do that move in the game, though.
Hockey blogging can't get any flatter.
