Adam Proteau at The Hockey News said back in December that he'd attend a game in civil war garb if the Blue Jackets somehow made the playoffs, and he ended up doing just that for Game 3 the other night.

A good lesson for any hockey pundit out there...

And didn't James Mirtle say the Bruins would come back down to earth or words to that effect? I'm pretty sure I read that in one of your posts, James, when they'd won a lot in row and were in 1st place. There weren't any promises made though. No PB runs.

Hmm, they did go 6-9-4 there in one stretch in February and March.

The big concern with Boston is in goal. Thomas ended up posting one of the best save percentages ever.

not sure if this should go here or under the Lecavalier/Montreal post, but Larry Brooks offered in his column to pay for everyone’s internet fees that were reading said column if Lecavalier did not go to Montreal on draft day.
