That’s some real A-list talent right there.

OK – now a tab of over $500 US makes complete sense! Man, I really wish I hadn’t already booked myself for something else.

Nothing says NHL quite like Chaka Khan.

How much do you think they’re paying Snoop to show up?

Enough to buy him some weed….

Snoop loves the Ducks, apparently.

How about that girl Robin from How I Met Your Mother?

Woot! It will be shown in HD too.

To me this is just another Bettmanism, that through location, price, and presentation, Says to the grassroots hockey family, we don’t want your business.

Did the grassroots hockey family ever go to the NHL award shows?

I expected the bottom of the release to have “great tickets still available!” on it. :)

I was on the fence on whether I’d watch the awards or not, until this line-up made my decision for me.

Bettman, get your head out of your ass! Seriously!

But seriously – is this bad? Wrong generation? Wrong demographic?

I’m a classical music person primarily, so I recognize the names but have no idea how “hip” or “cool” or whatever they are.

The NHL couldn’t have been funnier if it tried. Chaka Khan? Does she even know what hockey is?

And Robin Thicke has obviously been selected for those fans against headhosts who are trying to take all the manliness out of the game.

I don’t care who they get as long as Ron MacLean stops hosting. Nothing is more awkward and painful than to watch him try to do stand-up every year at the Awards Show.

As long as Snoop wears his Pens jersey from the Gin and Juice video, everything will be fine.

Actually, that would almost sway me into watching.

He is going to be high as a kite at this thing. Great for the family crowd!

Was almost ready to purchase a few tix until I saw that D-list of ‘Stars’. I see Robin Thicke on the dibious list. What, was Alan Thicke too busy to MC the event? LOL
