Trivia Question...?
Evgeni Malkin wins the Conn Smythe at the tender age of 23. I know he was the first Russian to win it... but...
Who was the youngest player ever to win the Conn Smythe? Anyone know? (I don't... I am asking to find out the answer myself...) I am assuming it is not Malkin, since no one has mentioned it. But if Gretsky was not the youngest Captain to win the cup, it seems unlikely he was any younger than 23 when he won his Conn Smythe... Anyway, I figure someone on here knows... Anyone?

Correct.
I was gonna guess either Dryden or Roy, as both won it as rookies. Sure enough, wikipedia says its Roy.

If Wikipedia says it, it must be true! :)

Roy is the youngest, followed by Cam Ward, Bobby Orr and then Malkin. Ron Hextall’s next after that.
Glenn Hall was the oldest, followed by Scott Stevens, Roy again, Jean Beliveau, Mike Vernon and Scott Niedermayer.

Evgeni Malkin wins the Conn Smythe at the tender age of 23.
Malkin doesn’t turn 23 until next month.
