Mario's Castle

Greg Wyshynski has up a link to some photos from Mario Lemieux's post-Cup winning pool party, shots that include this rare glimpse of his home in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. It's a beauty. If I ever interview him, however, I may ask how many chimneys a man needs.
If you've ever wondered what other players and owners houses looked like, this site has a good run through of the various mansions. Just in case you wanted to know where Ron Tugnutt was hanging his hat these days.

You should also ask him how much Crosby’s rent is.

No kidding.
I wouldn’t either.
(That is a lot of chimneys, though.) :)

(1) I like how Charles Wang’s house has a driveway that kinda looks like a misshapen…nevermind.
(2) For the people who live in NJ (lots of Flyers/Devils players, Gary Bettman, etc), its pretty easy to find their houses. NJ land records are all available online at no cost.

I think some of Mario’s chimneys have their own chimneys.

That joke works on so many levels.

Does he run a shuttle service from the house to the pool? It looks like a long walk!

Adam Foote’s place is friggin’ ridiculous. Although, it looks abandoned. Image must’ve been taken during the playoffs.
