On Tuesday, [Brett] Hull joined Luc Robitaille, Steve Yzerman and Brian Leetch as the 2009 Hockey Hall Of Fame inductees. Also elected today: New Jersey Devils’ president and general manager Lou Lamoriello in the builder’s category.
Hull and Robitaille were sixth and ninth-round draft choices respectively and overcame long odds just to make it to the NHL. Yzerman and Leetch were both top-10 draft choices who developed into two of the best leaders of their generation.

Did you see the Awards show?
Chaka Khan smashed her over the head with a guitar, after Abby grabbed the mic to protest the Brashear suspension.
