Capitals add Knuble on two-year deal

As per TSN, the Capitals have signed big winger Mike Knuble for $2.8-million a season on a two-year deal. He's going to be 37 later this week, so his cap hit will count next season regardless of if he suffers a career-ending injury.

Knuble's still an effective, big body, and is basically a replacement (and slight upgrade) over Viktor Kozlov, who went to the KHL. The Caps still need a second-line centreman to replace Sergei Fedorov.

we'll miss ya...

too bad, i liked Knuble in philly but with our cap…bound to happen. plus its a better deal for the team buying since Briere is just so much more expensive. Oh well, good luck in Washington man.
