Counting down to the 2010 Winter Classic

Photo

I actually don't have a whole lot to say about having a Winter Classic game at Fenway. Sounds like a good idea, really, regardless of who's playing, and I'll be tuning in when that day comes.

Hard to get too excited about a snow-covered baseball park in the middle of July anyway.

I’m as pumped up as those inflatable jerseys at fenway today, myself.

I’m with you on that. The entire Flyers fanbase is extremely excited about the Winter Classic already. The Phillies signed a former Cy Young Award winner today but this game was still the lead story on most of the local sports casts.

Oh yeah, this is a major deal for the local markets. But in July in Toronto? Meh.

I’ll be excited for it come late December.

But in July in Toronto? Meh.

Besides, James and the rest of Toronto are just engulfed with Blue Jays baseball fever during this time anyway.

What?

At least you still have your homeboy Lions to cheer on. What? Lost to Hamilton at home?

At least there is always Halladay’s pitching.

Poor Toronto fans. :(

eh…Im sure Im in the distinct minority, but I could care less about these games. They are fun to watch for about 30 seconds to see some steam-breath coming from the players, but aside from that, the uniqueness of the spectacle is long gone for me. What do I care about the NHL doing its part to promote legendary stadiums from other sports?

I’m in agreement, even accounting for the fact that I could probably care less about this game. ;)

I think last year I saw about 5 minutes worth of the Detroit-Chicago game, and only then because it was one one of the Saddledome monitors during a Hitmen game.

I can’t wait to not read the blog of someone who writes “I could care less.”
