New Blog: The Boxing Bulletin for Boxing Fans!

I was reading this article and when I saw the part about what $1M will buy in 2020, I started wondering.

What happens if (it's a big if, but worth talking about) Chris Pronger wants to actually play his last contract season, 2016-2017? He's only scheduled to make $525,000.

What happens if the CBA is changed to raise the league minimum to a higher amount than that?

He’ll get paid the new minimum. Those contracts get bumped up to whatever the league minimum is, at least under the current CBA.

Does his salary cap hit get adjusted to account for the increased dollar amount?
